 This 'Thames Pick' handaxe was found with several worked flints and after further searching in the area a small, narrow chisel of white patinated flint 10.5cm in length was also found.

 Description  Bowl barrow, Kings Wood

 A mound in Kings Wood, Challock forest, has been identified as a probable bowl barrow and has been protected as a scheduled ancient monument. It survives some 16m in diameter and 1.3m in height, and it remains in good condition.
