The Staffordshire Anglo-Saxon Hoard


The largest hoard of Anglo-Saxon treasure yet discovered has been found buried in a field in Staffordshire by a metal detectorist.

The hoard consists of c. 1,500 gold and silver pieces and possible dates to the 7th century.
